national Dog Photography Day

🐶📸It’s the 26th July 2022 and it is National Pet Photography Day – no way – yes way!

I can’t take any credit for this idea – but it’s a real thing, all started by Kerry Jordan, photographer at Fur and Fables here in the UK – she had the idea of celebrating our dogs in photographs all across social media platforms for the day. She registered the day officially in 2018 and now it’s a thing.

Use the #nationaldogphotographyday and join me, Kerry and millions of others by posting your favourite photographs of your dogs, past and present. Only on the 26th July every year to make it count.

My collection for you today is in homage to…dogs past but never forgotten.

An email prompted this collection as I had a previous client got in touch with me just yesterday to say they had just had their Labrador PTS, I photographed her back in 2019, she was such a kind, loving and fun dog to photograph. It is always so sad to hear this and revisit the memories my photographs have created but it is just another reason why I do what I do. To keep memories living on for my clients.

So here is a little collection, reel, run through of just a few of the beautiful pups I have had the pleasure of photographing that are no longer with us.

I love my job and all I can do for you, so now, let’s go and break social media with so many photographs of beautiful pups #nationaldogphotographyday . Enjoy. Fx
