The Portrait Session

Whether we’re looking at working with dogs, horses and/or their humans, the process of the portrait session is almost identical. Learn about the steps involved here, along with the investment options available too.

    Step 1

    Register your interest. Simply get in touch via my website, email or phone, let Fiona know a little about the subject and your location.

    Step 2

    Fiona will complete a complimentary consultation with you to gather your wishes. We will discuss locations and timings, as well as dates and end goals.

    Step 3

    Creation. The shoot itself then occurs. If it is outdoors, we will be in the hands of the God's where the weather is concerned so we will confirm that we are going to go ahead the day before. Fiona, will get in touch with you prior to the shoot to finalise any details and answer any questions you may have. It's great fun, honest!

    Within the creation stage is also the retouching and post production, where many days are spent carefully working on your photographs.

    Step 4

    The Reveal. Here, we reconvene either in person or virtually, to reveal the photographs created within Step 3. This is a super exciting part of the experience, seeing the finished photographs and Fiona to guide you through them.

    Step 5

    Here the artwork is passed to our printing partners, where they hand printed, framed or bound into the artwork to our exacting standards on your request. They then package the pieces and deliver it with great care to us, here in Devon.

    Once we have checked the piece, we then deliver it to your door.

  • The Fine Art Display/Box

    This is where my passion lies and how I tell your pet's story. Through multiple images.

    Displayed in a glass fronted wooden display box. The box holds up to 20 of your favourite images. That you can interchange in the window on the front of the box.

  • The Digital Option

    Because it is the 21st Century, we believe that offering digital versions of artwork is not just beneficial, it is expected. With the Digital Box, you have the ability to preserve your files on a traditional USB drive, and you can print these as you wish forever more.

  • The Album

    Call me old fashioned but this is where my passion lies and how I tell your pet's story. Through multiple images.

    Displayed in the thick pages of a seamless fine art album. Either in traditional leatherette or acrylic. To have and to hold forever.

  • The Frame

    Traditional framing is an affordable way to coordinate your artwork with the style of your home.

    Whether you prefer a modern, traditional or classic look, I offer frames to suit. Dress your walls up with either a single statement piece or with a collection of framed fine art prints!

  • The Matted Print

    Fine Art prints are produced using only the very latest professional Giclee 12 colour printers with UV resistant, archival inks. The paper itself is a 100% cotton Fine Art rag paper with an enhanced whiter 310gsm base. This acid-free, smooth matt paper upholds the appearance of high-key detail and colours to an exceptional standard.

You made my boys feel so relaxed, so that it was easy for them to look their best. The best moment is when Ralph (horse) bent over and kissed me. You convinced me to go for the honour collection and I am so glad I did. I was not sure about the fine art box but now I've got it I just love it and can’t imagine being without it, and the main picture is on my bedroom wall and its everything I hoped it would be.
