Brotherly Love with Elvis & Theo - Dog Photography in eggesford Forest in Devon

I had the joy of meeting and photographing these two beautiful Cockerpoos in Eggesford Forrest on a wet day in early Spring. A gift from a husband to his wife, a photoshoot and one of my stunning Duo Blocks.

Brotherly love with Elvis & Theo. This is my stick, no I don't think so...I believe it belongs to me!

I just love their expressions, if only they could talk!

After a phone consultation we worked out that Theo and Elvis would be happier being photographed in a familiar environment, so I joined them for a dog walk one afternoon in Eggesford Forrest.

The boys had been walked, shampooed and their hair coiffed before we met but I knew just by hearing about their cheeky characters that the clean, sleek coats were not going to stay that way for long!

We got the formal, clean shots out of the way then just had fun, I ended up just as muddy and wet as they did. But I captured every bit of the joy that they bring. The whole shoot created a storyboard of Elvis and Theo relationship and their relationship with their mum too. The fun they all have together. A moment in time captured forever. I love my job.

A few weeks later we had the reveal session, so much fun, reminiscing about how dirty we all got! I guided Theo and Elvis’s mum through the selection process. We selected her two favourites for the Duo Block. A perfect choice of one formal and one muddy! The rest will not be lost in time or space but put into a beautiful album to be treasured forever.
