update on model call for global dog photography challenge

Black Setter x Cocker Dog detail of eye and ear

All in the Detail - this had to show 'details' - I went for the kiss curls that frame the amazing brown eye.

Hello there,

Did you have a Jubiluptuious Jubilee weekend? What was your favourite bit? The tv coverage was fab, I love all the tradition, the troops, the bands, the horses. I really enjoyed the concert, more than I thought I would. The Paddington intro with the Queen was brilliant and inspired and showed true character and a real element of fun. Go watch it if you have been down a rabbit hole and not seen it. But, my favourite bit of all during the concert was the drone light show with the Corgi trying to catch the treat above Buckingham Palace, brilliant. Anyway peeps, time for an update on my photo challenge.

Quick recap, I am taking part in a series of photo challenges with a bunch of like minded, puppy-dog crazy photographers from all corners of the world...yes, there is more than one of me!

I have now completed 8 of the challenges, where did those 4 months go? Only 4 left of this specific round. I need to re-shoot one of them but apart from that slight blip, it is going great and I am loving all the positive feedback from the judges. So many things to look out for and implement, just like training with a horse or a dog, it never stops, a constant forward momentum. I just love learning, do you?

So above and below are the next 3 of my submissions, I am lucky enough to have made the top 20 twice, which I am bowled over with as it is not easy to get any placing especially with such amazing, talented photographs from around the entire world. I unfortunately missed two deadlines for scoring due to my Badminton and Windsor commitments so only 6 have been judged so far. The ones I missed submission dates for will still go into my final panel of images for the final critique.

Patterdale Terrier running

Pantastic - shoot with a bit of motion blur but a pin sharp face - easier said than done but this beautiful Patterdale was happy to be my fast moving model!
